I have worked with Mike for two years as he has provided snow removal services for our Homeowners Association.  He is very professional, has strong written and verbal communication skills and is a man of his word.  His RFP response was very complete and cost competitive and he understands the importance of providing top customer support.  The past two winters have proved to be challenging from a snow removal perspective and he has never failed to get the job done.  He is very reliably, takes pride in his work and has very good follow-up.  Lastly, I find Mike to be very responsive and easy to communicate with as he is equally comfortable communicating face-to-face, or via phone calls, email and/or texts.

I recently completed a project for a client to build a garage and storage area, large enough for a Motor Coach, tractor and some solar panels.There was a fairly large cut into the side of the hill. So I called Barr Excavating to come and take a look. I called Mike Barr because he always calls you back, shows up on time and gives you some honest “feedback”.  His prices are reasonable and he gets the job done Right Now! The finished pad grade was cut to within ¼ of an inch of proposed level pad grade and the footings were clean. Barr Excavating does some real clean work.
